The Association of Accrediting Agencies of Canada provides a forum
for networking and information exchange among the accreditators of professional programs; develops benchmarks for
professional accreditation; represents the interests of professional
education accrediting agencies to governments, professional bodies,
educational institutions and the private sector and monitors and
investigates common issues related to accreditation and mobility
of professionals internationally.

The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials
(CICIC) collects, organizes, and distributes information, and
acts as a national clearing house and referral service to support
the recognition and portability of Canadian and international
educational and occupational qualifications.

The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada is the mechanism
through which provincial and territorial ministers of education
consult and act on matters of mutual interest, and the instrument
through which they consult and cooperate with national education
organizations and the federal government of Canada. CMEC also
