Scotiabank-AUCC Awards for Excellence in Internationalization

Recognizing Canadian universities' achievements
in internationalization
A fundamental goal of internationalization is preparing students
- the next generation of political, social, cultural and business
leaders - for a more global world.
To recognize the achievements of AUCC
member institutions in internationalization, and to promote
awareness of good practices in the university community, Scotiabank
and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada teamed
up in 1996 to create the Scotiabank-AUCC Awards for Excellence
in Internationalization.
In the last competition, held in 2006, four awards for outstanding initiatives were presented, with a particular focus on excellence in preparing
students for a global future.
