Students for Development
– 2006 internships and team projects

In 2006, Students for Development funded 102 student internships and 10 team projects, each focused on a particular aspect of good governance in developing countries. Participating students worked alongside their Southern partners to find innovative solutions to pressing governance challenges. The brochure, the postcards and the case studies below provide an overview of their personal experiences and the lessons they learned about governance.

Brochure
The testimonials in this brochure eloquently show how the program successfully engages young Canadians to help bring about good governance. Students who participate in this program form a cadre of future leaders with the interest and experience in governance to carry forward Canada's work in the world.

Postcards
Based on student testimonials and photographs, these postcards provide a powerful glimpse into the very personal ways in which internships abroad have had an impact on the participants’ beliefs and outlook on international development.
