International programs and projects
AUCC promotes Canadian universities’ partnerships around the world, and particularly with developing countries. We manage several international programs open to Canadian universities and seek involvement in technical assistance projects financed by the Canadian International Development Agency as well as the multilateral development banks including the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the African Development Bank, and the Caribbean Development Bank.
Some programs and projects involve partnerships throughout the world; others apply to specific regions only. They are listed here under the world regions they cover.

CUE contains information on some 3,500 agreements between universities in Canada and institutions in other countries to provide exchange opportunities for students, faculty and staff, and to conduct joint research. CUPID contains more than 2,300 records on Canadian university international development projects.
