These internships are open to students from the following developing countries and emerging economies:
Bangladesh, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guyana, Honduras, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam and Zambia.
Your Canadian university must submit your internship questionnaire and Public engagement form to AUCC by:
January 31: fall interns
July 31: winter interns
Your Canadian university may recommend that you participate in the Orientation to Canada session provided by the Centre for Intercultural Learning. The course will help you better integrate into Canadian society and culture and maximize the effectiveness of your internship.
Before leaving Canada, we recommend that you attend the pre-return orientation provided by the Centre for Intercultural Learning. Both sessions are free for interns.
Should you need to travel to another Canadian city to receive this training, the Centre will cover your travel and accommodation expenses.
