Project purpose:
The objective of the project was institution strengthening at the Institut pédagogique national de l'enseignement technique et professionnel (IPNETP) in the Ivory Coast.
Key results to date:
At the end of the project, 50 principals and vice principals of Ivory Coast technical high schools had obtained a diploma in specialized higher education (diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées, or DESS); 30 directors of postsecondary institutions (Grandes Écoles) had been trained in education management; and two IPNETP instructors had obtained doctoral degrees in education. The project strengthened human and institutional resources in the field of technical and professional education in the Ivory Coast.
