Great Beginnings
Enhancing quality and innovation in undergraduate education
An undergraduate experience that fuels discovery and nurtures personal growth is a priority of Canada’s universities. Our member universities are committed to helping undergraduates achieve their full potential in a research-enriched environment that expands their knowledge, nurtures critical thinking and inspires creativity.
In March 2011, we held a workshop for our members to share best practices and examine innovative ways to enhance the undergraduate experience at all types of institutions. Those best practices are shared here in the report from the workshop, along with a series of related case studies, articles and publications list.
