Canada’s universities ask the federal government to make strategic investments in the granting agencies, meet global standards for institutional costs of research, establish scholarships for Aboriginal students, support strategic partnerships with India and Brazil, and foster greater collaborations between the private sector and university talent – particularly for master’s and PhD students.
