Profile

Founded in 1852 as the Church of England University in Canada, Trinity College has been federated with the University of Toronto since 1904 and shares its services and facilities. Undergraduate students in arts and science apply through the University of Toronto and receive their degree from that institution.  Graduate students in theology are admitted directly to the college and have access to the resources of the Toronto School of Theology.

The college provides a diverse, challenging and engaging academic community to supplement the university experience. Innovative programs offered by the college include immunology, international relations, ethics, society, the law, and Trinity One, a first-year program. The college recognizes the value of its Anglican heritage and welcomes students from all religious, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

In addition to the academic requirements of the university, the college places an emphasis on students’ intellectual, leadership and community interests, abilities and activities.
