Profile

Rooted in the Catholic and Jesuit traditions of education, Campion offers all students, regardless of their religious background, the opportunity to become associated with a small university college while pursuing undergraduate studies at the University of Regina.

Recognized internationally for their high academic standards, Jesuit institutions are centers of academic excellence that strive to develop future leaders who are concerned about society and the world in which they live. The Jesuit philosophy of education has defined Campion’s academic vision since the College was founded in 1917, and makes it unique among Canadian university colleges. It is evident today in the College’s course offerings, programs and services, dedicated faculty and staff, and strong partnership with the University of Regina.

Campion College is a federated college on the University of Regina campus. As such, it provides students with access to the innovative programs and services of a large university campus, and the support of a small college community that takes a student-centered approach to education. Any University of Regina student enrolled in the Faculty of Arts, Fine Arts or Science can take advantage of the Campion College option.

Campion College offers programs in Arts, Science, and Fine Arts in partnership with the University of Regina. Campion professors are recognized for their research, academic achievements, and expertise in their field. Programs offered through Campion College are designed to help students develop analytical, research, communication, and organizational skills. As well, Campion students can take advantage of work experience, co-operative education, internship, international exchange, and engaged learning programs — all of which provide valuable experience and help to establish important connections within the community.

In addition to its academic offerings, Campion provides a variety of invaluable student services including: one-on-one academic counselling and course registration, peer and faculty mentoring, free composition and math/stats tutoring, and a generous scholarship and bursary program. As well, Campion students have full access to the impressive range of services offered by the University of Regina.
